Supervisor Swim School
- Full time position (76 hours per fortnight)
- Nine-day fortnight option

About this position:
The City is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Swim School Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Swim School program and ensure the safe and professional delivery of swimming lessons.
The role plays a key part in supporting instructors, enhancing service quality and ensuring positive experiences for students and parents.
In this role, you will
- Lead and support instructors, including rostering, recruitment, inductions and ongoing professional development
- Maintain high standards of customer service and safety, including risk management and compliance with City policies
- Oversee key administrative tasks such as managing the online customer portal, updating records and monitoring budgets
- Liaise with parents, guardians and stakeholders in a professional and solution‑focused manner
- Assist with planning swim school events, seasonal programs and continuous improvement initiatives
What we are looking for:
To be successful, you must be able to demonstrate:
- Substantial relevant experience in a swim school role
- Strong leadership skills, including the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team
- Strong customer focus with the ability to build positive relationships
- Sound organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Essential requirements:
- Teacher of Swimming & Water Safety certificate
- Teacher of Infant and Pre-School Aquatics
- First Aid certificate
- Working with Children Check
- Current Police Clearance (less than three months old). Please note: This is not essential to apply for the role, but it will be required at a later stage as it is an appointment condition.
