About this position
The City of Gosnells is seeking enthusiastic and motivated Casual Swim School Teachers to join the customer-focused Leisure World team. These roles offer the opportunity to teach swimming lessons in a supportive and professional environment while helping the community develop essential water safety skills.
You will assist in delivering a variety of swim programs, including school-aged, parent and child, lifesaving, CALD and adult lessons (depending on qualifications).
Applicants must be available to work weekends, morning or afternoon shifts as required.
What we are looking for
To be successful, candidates must be able to demonstrate:
- Experience in teaching swimming
- Ability to develop and adapt lesson plans to meet student needs
- Capability to maintain student records and update proficiencies
- Strong teamwork skills in a collaborative and customer-focused environment
- Excellent customer service skills.
Essential requirements
- Current National Police Clearance (no less than three months)
- Working with Children Check
- Provide First Aid certificate & current Resuscitation
- Teacher of Swimming & Water Safety Certificate
Desirable requirements
- Teacher of Infant & Preschool Aquatics, Access & Inclusion, Adults, Competitive Strokes, Aquatic Service Officer, Bronze Medallion
