Senior Community Development Officer
- Full time (76 hours per fortnight)
- Nine-day fortnight option

An opportunity exists to join the Community Development team at the City of Gosnells. This role offers the chance to lead and evolve key initiatives - including the Community Grants Program, Connect@Kenwick facility, and the vibrant Global Village at the Fusion Festival.
You will mentor and support two Community Development Officers and deliver impactful programs that reflect the diverse needs and strengths of our community.

What we are looking for
To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate:
- A collaborative leadership style
- Strong understanding of community development principles and social inclusion
- Experience working in the community development sector
- Strong communication and networking skills
- Strong project management skills
Essential requirements
- National Police Clearance (less than three months old). Please note: This is not essential to apply for the role but may be required at a later stage as it is an appointment condition.
- First Aid certificate
- Driver's licence.
Desirable requirements
- Qualification in Community Services, Social Science or related discipline and/or substantial experience
