About this position
The Programs and Events team delivers a diverse range of programs and services to our community in the areas of events and festivals, community programs, arts and sponsorship and funding.
We are looking for an energetic team player with an eye for detail. Duties include:
- Assisting with the planning and delivery of our annual calendar of art events and programs including the Community Art Exhibition.
- Assisting with the delivery of art initiatives.
- Reviewing and updating promotional content including website, social media and newsletters.
- Providing administration support across the team.
What we are looking for
To be successful, you must be able to demonstrate:
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and build productive working relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders.
- Excellent organisation and administration skills, with the ability to work autonomously to meet deadlines.
- Sound knowledge and experience of social media applications.
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work as an effective and supportive team member.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and/or nights, and the ability to deliver programs and events indoors and outdoors.
Essential requirements
- Driver's licence.
- Current National Police Clearance (less than three months old). Please note: This is not essential to apply for the role but will be required at a later stage as it is an appointment condition.
