Injury Management and Wellbeing Advisor
- Full time (76 hours per fortnight)

About this position
We are looking for an experienced Injury Management and Wellbeing Advisor to lead programs that keep our people safe, healthy and supported. In this role, you will drive injury management and wellbeing initiatives, provide advice on early intervention and prevention strategies and help foster a positive safety culture across the City.
You will work collaboratively with the Work Health and Safety (WHS) team and business units to understand specific needs, deliver practical solutions and drive continuous improvement -- ensuring the City meets its duty of care responsibilities.

What we are looking for
To be successful, you must be able to demonstrate:
- Substantial experience in effectively building, managing and delivering injury management and wellbeing programs within a diverse workforce
- Strong understanding of Workers Compensation and WHS legislation and practical application
- Substantial experience managing injuries and workers' compensation claims, covering both physical and psychological conditions
- High level communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Proven ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Essential requirements
- Certificate IV or higher qualification in Injury Management, WHS or related discipline
- Provide First Aid certification
- Current driver's licence
- Current Police Clearance (less than three months old) Please note: This is not essential to apply for the role but will be required at a later stage as it is an appointment condition
Desirable requirements
- First Aid for mental health certification
- Provide advanced resuscitation and oxygen therapy certification
