About this position
A rare opportunity exists for a motivated IT support professional to join our dynamic IT Service Delivery Team. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service and high-quality technical support to a diverse range of staff across all levels of the organisation.
As the face of our Information Services branch, you will play a key role providing both Level 1 and Level 2 helpdesk support. City employees work across a variety of locations - from busy libraries and our Civic Centre to the Operations Centre and mechanical workshops - offering a varied and engaging work environment where no two days will look the same.

What we are looking for
To be successful you must be able to demonstrate:
- Experience in providing frontline IT support for end user devices and software
- High level of communication skills, and ability to build and maintain effective relationships with a diverse range of people
- Ability to think strategically in order to deliver creative solutions
- Proven ability to multi-task effectively, under minimal supervision
Essential requirements
- Current driver's licence.
- Current National Police Clearance (less than three months old). Please note: This is not essential to apply for the role but will be required at a later stage as it is an appointment condition.
Desirable requirements
- Possession of relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Systems / Information Technology
- Exposure to the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) IT service delivery framework
- Exposure to the Prosci ADKAR organisational change management model
